It started with a cold shower.

Joe and Logan have spent years helping business owners grow without letting the quality slip. Fix It First came out of a problem they both kept running into, from opposite sides.

Why we built it

Joe was at the gym, standing under a cold shower. On his way out he mentioned it to the sixteen year old at the front desk and got a shrug. That was not the kid's fault. He had nowhere to write it down and no one to pass it to.

The next time Joe came in, the shower was still cold. He asked for an update. Nobody had one.

It is a small thing. It is also the thing that decides whether you can shower before work on Tuesday. Joe did not want to leave a bad review. He wanted to tell someone who could fix it, and then find out when it was fixed.

There was no good way to do either one. So we built one.

Joe has spent twenty five years in tech as a software developer and AI architect. His company, POSIX, builds tools that help small and medium businesses cut friction and keep customers happy.

Fix It First started as his own problem, in his own gym.

Logan is a former CEO who now advises and consults for businesses that are scaling. Working with owners, CEOs, and founders, she kept running into the same wall: you can only run what you can reach.

A tool that keeps a brick and mortar owner in the loop when they cannot be on site is the thing her clients need before they will open a second location.

The cold shower is still the point. Give people somewhere to tell you, and tell them when it is done.
